I have placed in the Top 10 photographers at three different UjENA Jams and took 2nd place overall at UJENA Jam 21. The UjENA Jam is an incredible event that any aspiring or advanced model or photographer should experience...Hands Down!

No two UjENA Jams are the same...I should know, as I have been to 10 of them in a row now (Jam 18-Jam 28)! I am always looking for the next jam! I seriously cannot get enough of them!

I have traveled with UjENA to Spain (three times) and several trips to Cancun, Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Todos Santos, Mexico. I have also participated in several different fashion photo tours with UjENA, which include 2 times in Tijuana, Mexico; San Francisco, CA; Gilroy, CA and Tiburon, CA.

I have worn numerous different hats on these trips also, which include: Photographer – both shooting product and covering all the behind the scenes events and parties; workshop lecturer on various different topics including photography and jam information; 5k race director; behind the scenes jack-of-all-trades guy and of course...my little know claim to fame...the airport/club party drop off/pickup van driver.

The knowledge and experience that I have gained and received from these UjENA adventures has proved to be invaluable. I have met and worked with some of the most amazing photographers and models in the industry.

Today I am a staff photographer for UjENA and I owe so much of my success to Bob Anderson, Catherine Cross and Lisa Anderson Wall. They are among my closest friends. Aside from Bob owning the best swimwear company on the planet, he is a very down-to-earth, caring man that has really made a mark on the lives of so many people he has come into contact with.

I really feel fortunate for all the help Bob has shown me through our many shoots together. Heck...I think Bob wrote the book on natural direct sunlight photography. I think of Bob as a friend, a brother and as a mentor. Bob and Catherine are a great husband and wife team together and both of them go out of their way to help others and make things run properly and efficiently.

But, Bob and Catherine are not all work and no play. After the day is done and things are quieted down you will probably find Bob and Catherine at some fine restaurant having a wonderful meal together and drinking a nice vintage red wine, or watching a movie together, as they are both movie buffs...or playing a game or two of Backgammon which I believe is their favorite board game. And then...before the crack of dawn the next day, you will probably find Bob outside running two or three miles before he takes on his work day, amazing! Thank you Bob and Catherine for all your sincere generosity and all the wonderful memories!!!.

Currently, I shoot with a NIKON D700 full frame sensor camera. My favorite workhorse lens is the very reliable and sharp 70-200 mm / f2.8 lens. I also use a 1.4 tele-converter between the lens and the camera. I have been published countless times on the UjENA.com website and have over 7,000 images posted on UjENATalent.com

As for my personal life, I have a beautiful daughter, Sheena, that is married to a wonderful man named Greg. Together they have given me a gorgeous granddaughter named Natalie who is going on two now and are pregnant with their second daughter who is due in August, just before the next PV jam! I will keep you posted on that new baby arrival!
