Ujena Jam CABO starts Oct 16 - Are you joining us?

The UjENA Jam is the place to get noticed, build portfolios, network with leaders in the industry, gain valuable knowledge in the workshops, compete in exciting events, get exposure, win cash and prizes from UjENA and partnering companies, and have FUN!

Our next Ujena Jam starts October 16, 2010 in Cabo. Your deposit of $100 holds your place. This Jam is limited to 60 models, 30 photographers and 10 makeup artists. There will also be a 10k and 5k road race, golf tournament, some fun swim races and a pool volleyball tournament. For details and a calendar of events go to:

I'm really dissapointed that PV isn't going to happen this year. It was a tradition for many of us to see all and work with all of our friends and make new ones. I guess we will all just have to meet up in Cabo.

Ujena Jam Cancun Winners

Ujena Jam Cancun 2010 was held Feb 20 to March 1. It was one of our smaller Jams but a very good one. Over 200,000 images were taken and there are so many good ones. Over 15 hours of video footage was shot. The parties were fun and everyone had a good time.

2010 Ujena Jam Cancun

The Ujena Jam in Cancun starts Feb 20, 2010. It is really shaping into a good event. We have lined up some really great locations including three trips to Isla Mujeres and one to Playa de Carma. We are expecting over 100 runners for the Ujena 5k which is set for Saturday Feb 27. $1200 of cash awards will be presented to the winners.

Five teams will be competing in our first Cancun Ujena Jam Golf tournament which is being held on the Hilton golf course. Ten Ujena Jam awards are being presented Feb 28th. Of course, we have many exciting nights lined up including our costume and clubkini parties. If you are signed up, we will see you there. If not, we will see you at the next Jam. Ujena Jam CANCUN

Ujena Jam Cancun nine night program starts Feb 20th. Are you signed up? We still have nine spots open before the hotel is totally booked. We have some exciting plans. We will be going over to Isla Mujeres three times for open shoots there. All contestants and staff will be working together to get some great images. Ujena is Jamlicious!

I was 14 when i signed up on Ujena. Just a kid with high hopes and big dreams. I had heard about Ujena from a photographer whom i met off another site that i hated and couldn't stand cause of all the ignorance and disrespect among the members. So he told me about Ujena and said if i wanted to be around the best of the best that Ujena was the place to be.

So i thought it couldn't hurt to come on and give Ujena a shot and see what it had to offer. I am not going to tell a lie as i looked at everyone's profile and all the pictures everyone had that i didn't i was embarrassed. I did not have the professional pictures that every gorgeous model had on their profile. Then i thought well I'm on a site with professional photographers why couldn't i have what every model has posted on their profile. So that gave me the motivation that i needed to get my little butt going, but yet still i was wasn't sure about the Ujena Site because as i scoped the site i didn't see models that were my age and felt out of place until Catherine,Bob,Lisa and members like

Antonio,Lisamarie,Ed,Trish,Waitman,Keith,Amber,Jill and a whole bunch of them stopped by and dropped a comment with love and support and treated me like i was already part of the Ujena Family. Everyone i had made friends with were professional never crossed the line and disrespected me and if they had or did i would just put them in their place or ignore them till they go away, Yes a few times my mother would pop up but i was raised to fend for myself and i needed to learn and experience what the world was made of on my own even at 14. I have also made mistakes and have been put in my place but if you don't make a mistake how will one learn. Yes you may see us members bickering or confronting or not agreeing but what family doesn't and the world ain't perfect nor are we. Yet we look out for each other and wont allow one of us to fall or be wronged.

As months went by this little big mouth thought she can do anything so i was like i want to go to a Jam. I wanted to see what Ujena was about and made of. Yes at the age of 15 this kid wanted to play with the big girls. No lie i was disappointed and cried when i didn't make the top but i am human. After my first Jam i was like i want more and i wasn't going to give up. With every Jam i went to i came home with more knowledge as to what it takes to win and a better model. I recommend that to anyone and everyone from 14 to 50 yrs old.

It's been some years now and i cant imagine not being on here or anywhere else for that matter. Ujena is my Rock! I have not missed a day on here and it's not because i have nothing better to do but because I Love being on here amongst whom i consider Family and looking at all the Sexy Swimsuits not to mention learning new things from others on here.

Ujena thank you for all the love and support! It's a great site and it has allowed me to grow and become the person i am today.

Thanks Mel. I have done very well here and I have made some wonderful supportive friends. I guess it is just the age thing. I have been a professional working model for 4 years but I am normally competing for jobs against girls my own age. Although Dallas is a large market, it is still a small world and we all know each other. I am kind of a go to girl in my market. Here I feel somehow inadequate. But I'm gonna keep on trying to find a way to fit in. Thanks for being a friend.

Are you only 17??? Gees, wow, lol! Sorry... Thought for sure you were in your 20s, yikes... I understand what you mean though... I tried as a teen and young lady and had no support. My mom said it was a fantasy i could never fulfill and still till this day tells i'm silly for thinking i could pursue. Gives me shit everytime I mention Ujena.. Now she is on Amanda's case to... Makes me mad when people put me down... Strangely enough it's probably the only reason i'm doing it now. It may sound bad but I want to prove my mother wrong... I encourage Amanda to play on here and meet friends. She is 15 and I trully believe that is a better place for her to hmmm let's call it play, as opposed to facebook and all those other sites that will never help her out in life. Congrads and keep pushing for what you feel is right for you!!!

Ujan Jam Cancun First Deadline January 12th

Ujena Jam Cancun 2010 is coming up fast. The deadline to sign up and pay in full (or to commit Ujena Dollars) is January 12, 2010. After this date there will be a $50 late Fee. This late fee increases to $100 after February 5th if there is still space. Get signed up right away. Click on the link above to hold your spot. Our per person package includes your room* at the official hotel, all your food and drink at the hotel, your VIP pass, entry into the Ujena 5k race, transfer from the Cancun airport, and all taxes. Ujena Jam Golf Cancun Feb 28

The next Ujena Jam Golf tournament is set for Cancun Feb 28. We have set up a unique event. Each team is made up of three golfers and one Ujena Pin Girl. The pin girl acts like a caddy; keeping score and taking out the pin on the green. You can either sign up a team or we will put you on a team. We will supply the pin girl. Mark your calendar. I guess Tiger won't be playing...

Ujena Lets DO it! contest starts at noon (PST)

Ujena new 4 month contest will be starting at noon (PST) today. $8000 Ujena Dollars (UD) will be awarded in this contest. This will bring our total to $30,900 for the year so far. Get involved early and stay around and win some of these dollars which can be used for Ujena products and Ujena Jam packages.

Each month there will be 10 events where you can earn points. In each event, you need to qualify for the drawing - 5 winners (from those who qualified) per event will be awarded $30 UD each. You can participate just by being active on a regular basis. It is that easy.

Here are the events:
1. Photo Comments (same - 12 unique per day 1 point each)
2. Home Page Content (3 unique per day - 10 points each) Ujena Insider, Fashion Tips & Advice, Fitness & Health Advice, and Feature Article - these have to be approved and all need a unique photo)
3. Work Out Log (same - one per day 10 points each)
4. Network Content Posts (There are 15 Networks right now and more coming - post in the Network Insider and Tips and Advice - 3 unique per day each worth 10 points each)
5. Group Notebook Posts (3 unique groups per day 5 points each)
6. New Accounts (10 points each once approved)
7. Content Comments (same 10 unique per day)
8. Personal Updates (same - 3 unique per day)
9. Tag Your Friend in a photo (10 per day 1 point each takes 100 points to qualify)
10. Personal Update Comments (same - 5 unique per day)

Month one BONUS event: each vote in one of our Opinion Polls is worth 5 bonus points each.

Overall point leader wins $100UD, 2nd to 5th place $50UD each and 6th to 10th place $40UD each.

Month one ends January 7th and UD won can be applied toward your trip to the Ujena Jam in Cancun.

(Results) What if...You found $1 Million Dollars

So if you found a million dollars, what would you do? 48% of the Ujena Network would either spend the first $100 bill on lunch or hide it at home and start looking for a new house.

BUT 42% stated they would drive directly to the nearest police department and hand over the bag to them. One member said, "I'd turn it in, but file for finders rights..." Another member said, "I would be afraid to take it not knowing where it came from."

Posted the results here because several members would use some of the money for the Jam, "...I'd pay everyone's way to a Jam," stated one member. Really?

I think we need to find that bag, don't you think?
